"What's gotten into you? I don't recognize you!" Do you sometimes say this to your partner, who seduced you into an unexpected fast, drove you down a banal road trip or surprised you with atypical determination? And we just cringe (or frown) without being able to name that the menstrual cycle is behind the constellation of our positions. What are the characteristics of the individual phases and how to use them to synchronize joint pleasure?

A guide not only for men

Let's drop the mentor tone and publicly admit that most (adult!) girls do not understand their menstrual cycle too much either. Biology classes armed us with a superficial knowledge of anatomy, we have period products, but to notice psychological changes and understand the nuances between them by involving archetypes (which will be discussed later)... that was unfortunately not in the curriculum.

We do not make anyone a fool by this, but we invite the female audience to read it as well. When we understand ourselves, it is easier for us to perform our "fourfold change of skin" even for masters.

Four women in one body

When we talk about the female cycle, its two imaginary peaks receive the most attention: menstruation and ovulation. On closer inspection, however, we immediately come across four phases. To explain them in a comprehensible way, comparisons to the seasons are used and the involvement of the four archetypes that best capture the essence of each season.

When describing them, we make the inevitable generalizations. Of course, every body works differently and does not follow strict templates.

Menstruation, aka the crone

We consider the first day of bleeding to be the beginning of the cycle. With it, our performance and energy decreases. Does that sound negative? On the contrary. A lack of strength leads to a natural slowdown and we have more space for self-care and reflection. Our mental state, which is not dominated by logic at this stage, but by intuition, is also perfectly suited to this.

If we were to personify the period of menstruation, an old, experienced woman (wisdom) would stand before us. She does not need company, she turns inward, she is connected to her inner resources and knowledge.

How about sex? Because we conserve energy and limit contact with the outside world, sex is not such an attractive activity in the first place. Nevertheless, we can have a taste for it, but it is usually associated with a strong emotional, even spiritual experience. We long for a massage, a slow pace and a generous dose of tenderness.

Pre-ovulation, aka the maiden

The end of menstruation comes with a surge of vitality. A young virgin emerged from the baby. Productive, well-adjusted, dynamic. We throw ourselves headlong into the action. Sometimes we don't know where to jump first, the renewed strength in us gushes out in all directions. The to-do list we have made will be of great service to us they prepared in the previous brooding period – they protect us from distraction.

How about sex? The period of Virgo sex wishes. Since ovulation hasn't happened yet, sex now has one main function: to bring us fun and pleasure. It's the perfect time to experiment. The Whoop·de·doo Classic is already shaking until you try all 105 types of vibrations together!

Ovulation, aka the mother

A moment before ovulation, we calm down, harmonize our forces and gain the peace needed to implement our plans. We take our foot off the gas, perceive our surroundings more and turn our attention to others. A virgin becomes a mother who takes care of relationships.

How about sex? The mother phase may not be as tumultuous as the virgin phase, but it offers profound potential. We often do not put ourselves first, but the satisfaction of our partner. In addition to physical connection, we also expect reciprocation of feelings and tuning into the same note. Allow yourself time for intense foreplay. Here you will appreciate Whoop·de·doo First Touchlubricating gel, which increases the chance of achieving orgasm in both women and men.

Premenstruation, aka the witch

The peak of the cycle is over and the depression is coming. Hormone levels change just like our moods. After the care phase, we are much more direct, sometimes even aggressive. An unreadable and unpredictable sorceress (witch) was born from the mother.

How about sex? A sorceress can cause mixed feelings in bed. It mixes the ability to charm and sophisticatedly seduce a partner with a sudden need for peace. Women often withdraw into themselves at this stage. Feel free to support them in this - unnecessary pressure to spend the evening together could create an emotional storm.

Embrace them all

Individual stages vary in length. The most important key to understanding yourself (or your partner) is consciously observing these changes and accepting all of our forms. We cannot isolate or displace them, even if we wanted to. Take advantage of the strengths of the wise old woman and the creative magician. In a little while, an untamed virgin or a charming mother will awaken in you (or next to you). We promise!
