Sustainability comes
naturally to us

Much like the origins of the brand, a sustainable lifestyle and a caring approach to everyone who contributes to it come naturally to us. It’s not a trend that we’re trying to uphold at all costs – this is simply how we live, think, and work.

Responsibly from the very start

We think about how to extend the life of our products right from the design phase. First and foremost, they have to work flawlessly, and that requires high-quality and precision manufacturing. Only then can they provide a lifetime of happiness. To achieve this, we have complete control over the entire process, from design to packaging of the final product. We design, develop, and manufacture our products locally in the Czech Republic.

A sustainable and simple way of life comes completely naturally to me. That’s why it was completely natural for me to create designs that would last for many years, and I also wanted to keep manufacturing right here at home in the Czech Republic.

Idea, research, sketches

It all begins with an idea. But before we put it on paper, we look at how other products on the market work or, in many cases, don’t work. Next, it’s time to do some sketches, which serve as blueprints for 3D designs of the product.

Development

Development is when we sort out many of the fundamental details, from the material and its stiffness to the feel of the product and the intensity of the vibrations. We consult with specialists in a number of fields, including technologists and doctors.

Suppliers

We look for the right manufacturing technologies, materials, and suppliers. For some products, such as the Vibrator, we have to develop completely new technologies.

Prototypes and testing

Once we have the first prototypes, we can start testing, usually with the assistance of our friends, brand ambassadors, and gynaecologists.

Mould and manufacturing

If testing is successful, we can begin making the final mould, which is eventually used in mass production.

Packaging and user guide

The overall design is rounded out with the packaging, a certificate of authenticity, and a user guide. Everything has to match right down to the smallest of details.

Inspection and completion

Before we put everything in the box, each product and its components are carefully inspected to ensure your package arrives in perfect condition.

A smile on your face

And that’s it! The product is ready to make its way to you. Finally you can touch it, try it, and cuddle it. And be sure to let us know how you like it!

In our conception of real sustainability, each step of the manufacturing process takes place locally and with the smallest possible impact on our surroundings. That’s why we put so much emphasis on the selection of high-quality materials and components from trusted suppliers. Quality is our way of guaranteeing that your intimate relationship with Whoop·de·doo lasts a long time, maybe even forever.

We keep our suppliers
close

90% of materials sourced in the Czech Republic
The vast majority of the materials and components we use come from Czech companies paying fair wages and ensuring safe working conditions.
Our manufacturing radius is less than 1,200 km
We source the remaining components from European suppliers that share our values. Medical-grade silicone comes from Germany, cotton from Switzerland.
The manufacturing process under our control
Thanks to the proximity of our suppliers and small-series manufacturing, we have 100% control over every step of the process and resulting quality.

Each Whoop·de·doo product undergoes at least thirty different steps before we ship it to you.

A 100% sustainable
product

We’ve made sustainability an integral aspect of our menstrual cup. While its single-use counterparts turn to waste in only a few hours, the menstrual cup can be used again and again for a minimum of five years, and likely much longer.

A tip for you! We package all our products in handmade boxes designed to let you store your intimate aid when not in use. Or anything else that fits inside. You decide how to extend the longevity of the products.
