Sometimes I just want to take a break from design, or from all that arranging and organizing. I've been wanting to make a video about the balls for a long time, but only now that we have the new red edition, I got around to it.
Flying high again video
I've never done anything like this before. So I raged in front of the camera with Whoop·de·doo balls on a fishing line for half a day because I wanted to make a funny animation. How the balls come out of the box. Just kidding, kidding. But it didn't work very well, I mean it did, but it looked crazy and then the cameraman Pavel showed me how it looks when it's filmed on slow motion and of course I had a lot of fun with it.
After three hours I was still having a lot of fun, but Pavla was not so much anymore. I kept throwing marbles at the endless background and forcing the guy behind the camera to rejoice with me. In reality, the fall lasted about half a second, two minutes in slow motion. So I kept looking at the slow motion shots of the marbles and tossing them over and over again. Well, in the end, Pavel put an end to it. That is, until I said: "Yes, we have it!"
And then I thought that I would like music for it. Well, something like Max Richter. I whined for so long that Ondřej introduced me to Matouš Hejlo. I didn't understand. He composed this beautiful music for it! Instead of sheet music, he put his iPad on top of the piano and played. According to the video. That's why I love this video so much. It touched so many people and everyone who participated in it moved it forward.
For some it may be long, for me it is touching and quite gentle thanks to the music by Matouš. I just want women to feel like women again and I believe this video expresses that.
Carpe diem even for this minute and a half.
